A nicely toned nomos from Kaulonia

BRUTTIUM. Kaulonia. Circa 475-425 BC. Nomos (Silver, 21 mm, 8.15 g, 6 h). KAVΛ Apollo, nude, advancing to right, with a laurel branch in his upraised right hand and a daimon running to right on his outstretched left arm; to right, stag on pediment. Rev. KAVΛ Stag standing right; to right, laurel branch. HN Italy 2046. Noe, Caulonia, 93 (same reverse die). SNG ANS 180 (same reverse die). Well centered and lightly toned. Very fine.
